Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This site uses no advertising or marketing cookies. The only optional cookies are Google Analytics 4 cookies, and they are activated only after you consent.

1. What happens before consent

Google Analytics is not loaded before you make a choice. The site stores your cookie preference in local browser storage so it does not need to ask on every page. This preference is necessary to remember your choice and is not used for tracking.

2. Analytics cookies

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may set first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Google states that these are used respectively to distinguish users and maintain session state, with a default lifetime of up to two years.

3. Purpose

Analytics helps IT-Ability understand general website usage, such as which pages are visited and how visitors interact with the site. It is not required for the website to function.

4. Consent

Accepting analytics is optional. “Accept analytics” and “Reject analytics” are presented together. Rejecting analytics does not restrict access to the site.

5. Changing or withdrawing your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. If you withdraw consent, this site disables further Analytics use and attempts to remove existing _ga cookies from the IT-Ability domain. You can also remove stored data through your browser settings.

6. Duration of the preference

Your choice is remembered for no longer than 24 months. After that period, or if the consent implementation materially changes, the site may ask you again.

7. Third party

Google Analytics is provided by Google. Google’s own terms and privacy information apply to its processing after Analytics has been enabled.
